Laura Ashley is one of the world’s best-loved fashion and home furnishings companies founded on a rich design heritage and on the traditional values of quality and originality, using prints and designs that evoke the English countryside. ‘Laura Ashley’s’ love of creating beautiful spaces within the home has been extended to the hotel environment with The Manor Hotel, Elstree, Hertfordshire, launched in 2013 having undergone a name change and a full refurbishment in ‘Laura Ashley’ furnishings, and The Belsfield Hotel, Windermere, launched in July 2014 with a full refurbishment and the addition of a modern, award winning architect designed glazed reception area
Laura Ashley The Manor Hotel, Elstree (Near London)
Laura Ashley The Manor Hotel in Elstree is a classic and timeless Tudor revival Hotel set within stunning landscaped gardens. Laura Ashley The Belsfield, Windermere (The Lake District)
Laura Ashley The Belsfield in Windermere is a superb example of Victorian Italianate architecture, and is amongst the grandest Victorian Buildings on Lake Windermere. Built in 1845 as a private residence for the Baroness Von Sternberg, the house was acquired by the steel magnate Henry Schnieder in 1869 and converted to a hotel in 1892 and extended to provide additional bedrooms shortly before the First World War. The Hotel has been refurbished throughout by Laura Ashley designers, drawing their inspiration for the project from the beautiful building and its perfect location by the side of Lake Windermere. Situated in Bowness on the Eastern shore of Lake Windermere and directly overlooking the “Belle Isle”, the Laura Ashley Hotel The Belsfield is the perfect place from which to enjoy a holiday in Windermere. Set in 6 acres of landscaped gardens the boutique hotel offers unparalleled views over Lake Windermere in the foreground, and on the farther shore can be seen the often snow-capped Langdale Pikes and the Fairfield Horseshoe
